Chocolate Trobolone Fondue Recipe

Toblerone chocolates are made in Switzerland and they are best known for their triangular shape and wonderful taste. The product is a mix of milk chocolate, almonds, nougat and honey.

Ingredients

Serves 4 – 6

4 (3.5 oz) bars of Toblerone Chocolate

6 tablespoons of whipping cream (heavy cream can be used)

1 tablespoon of cognac or clear cherry brandy or Frangelico

3 tablespoons of honey
1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

  • In a heavy to medium saucepan the honey and cream should be brought to a simmer.
  • The Toblerone Chocolate should be added over the heated mixture until it is melted.
  • Remove from the heat and add the almond extract and liqueur (cognac or clear cherry brandy or Frangelico).
  • This should then be whisked until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into the fondue pot as this will keep it warm.
  • Serve with fruits, desserts, and other products of your choosing.

Fresh Fruit – Strawberries, blueberries, grapes, oranges, bananas, apples, tangerines, pears and other berries.

Pastry – Cakes, cookies, danish and more

Dried fruit – peaches, strawberries, oranges and more
