Fondue Plates
If you are into fondue or planning on throwing a fondue party, then it is very important that you have the right setup. Fondue plates are a must and no party or meal would be complete without them.
Eating fondue in a regular plate will cause the sauces or oil to mix together and as a result you will have a major mess. To get around that you can use a Fondue plate that is designed specifically for this wonderful meal.
Fondue plates are made out of plastic or porcelain and they are usually divided up into four, five or siz different sections. The sections are deep and large enough to hold the food or dipping sauces to fondue. Each section will hold and keep separated different foods such as fruits, vegetables, breads, meat or seafood. It could also be used to hold different condiments, sauces or fondue forks, the choices are endless.
The downside to using these types of plates is the fact that they are hard to store. The plates are thick and heavy and the bottom of them or smooth. This makes it difficult to stack them on top of each other. It is a small drawback, but other than that these plates rock.
